1 . Chi, the Spa at Shangri-La – Vancouver, Canada – This is the first spa at a Shangri-La Hotel that exists outside of the Asia Pacific region. It is located in the beautiful Canadian city of Vancouver. The spa’s décor features ornate wooden doors, plenty of votive candles, luxurious wood paneling and its design and treatments incorporate the five elements of Chinese philosophy: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. 2. Remède, St. Regis Resort – Punta Mita, Mexico –One of the most beautifully arranged spas that we’ve seen is the Remède spa. It boasts outdoor and indoor design and landscaping. The waiting area is located outside and features luxe white sofas arranged under a huge palapa that has waist high ocher walls. Other outdoor elements include dipping pools and a soaking tub. The eclectic environment is decorated with large lanterns, stone flooring and painted woods. The services offered include facials for fine lines or acne, as well as body polishes and body wraps. 3. Spa Montage – Beverly Hills, California – The Spa Montage is a large, two story spa located in the affluent Beverly Hills, just blocks from Rodeo Drive.  The spa was designed to encourage guests to “discover personal solutions for optimal health, well being and strength.” The idea is that you can take these principles home with you and perform them on your own.  The spa has 17 treatment rooms with a lavish bathing grotto that is filled with mineral-rich water, and lit above by a skylight. 4. RockResorts Spa at the Arrabelle – Vail, Colorado – The Arrabelle’s spa has eleven luxurious treatment rooms, including two facial rooms, one hydrotherapy room, one massage and dry treatment room, wet rooms with Vichy and Swiss showers, and couple, group and family treatment rooms. It opened this year, and includes innovative natural treatments that are representative of the Colorado lifestyle. The decor also represents the Rocky Mountains, which is a departure from the rest of the resort’s Bavarian style. 5. 29 Spa at the Mansion on Peachtree – Atlanta, Georgia – This is a fifth generation spa and resort that is based on California’s Napa Valley, with a rich history of wine making and skin care. It is the flagship spa of Lydia Mondavi, a world renowned winemaker. The spa focuses on being one with nature, and offers a number of services and treatments, all of which are followed by a complimentary glass of Mondavi wine. The spa consumes the entire third floor of the Mansion on Peachtree where you will find large rooms with heated beds adorned with silk duvets.
